From our allies fighting to stop the Northern Access Pipeline in Western, NY
Water protectors pipeline fighters!
This is our FINAL WEEK to stop the Northern Access Pipeline (NAPL).
On Friday, April 7, the NYSDEC will either grant or deny permits for this fracked-gas export pipeline.
We must make sure the DEC denies the permits.
PLEASE CALL GOVERNOR CUOMO (today and every day this week, week of April 3rd): 518-474-8390
Press to speak to a person, then tell the operator:
I’m calling to urge Governor Cuomo to protect our state’s residents and water by directing the DEC to deny Northern Access Pipeline a 401 Water Quality Certificate and air permits.Tell them your zip code, say thanks, and wish them a good day.
Easy! CALL EVERY DAY.
If the permits are granted, National Fuel will bulldoze across more than 400 streams and wetlands in Western New York, including state-protected trout streams and a sole-source aquifer that provides water to thousands of residents. Believe it or not, the multi-million-dollar National Fuel is using eminent domain to seize land from approximately 40 New York families for this export scheme. Many more landowners signed with the company under duress when threatened with litigation.
We can’t let this fracked-gas project move forward. It’s no good for New York’s water, land, air, economy or residents.
Call Cuomo now! 518-474-8390
