CORNING: Seal The Cracks Campaign Planning!

Please join us on Friday, February 17th from 11:00-1:00 for a planning meeting.
Our community team has formed a partnership with the Finger Lakes Climate fund to pair carbon offsets with home weatherization grants that will help members of our community, create local jobs, and reduce our carbon footprint.

You can read more about the Finger Lakes Climate Fund and how it works here: http://fingerlakesclimatefund.org/

If you can't make this meeting, there are many ways to get involved:
  • Attend a House Party (we have house parties coming up on 2/15 and 2/17)
  • Host a House Party
  • Invite us to speak at your club, women's group, place of worship
  • Become a Member of Mothers Out Front
There is so much happening in the world right now. Every day I'm bombarded with e-mails imploring me to call this person or sign that petition. We need to call and sign as much as we can, but these actions can feel lonely and a little bit empty. If you feel the need to join with others in real relationships and take meaningful change in our local community, join us at Mothers Out Front. I've realized the power of local organizing - this is how we build the power we need to get the results we want. Whether you would like to be a volunteer leader or just have a couple of hours a month, you can join with us to make a meaningful impact in the Corning/Elmira area. -  Lisa Marshall
We hope to see you on Thursday!
Renata, Carla, Diane, Dianne, Connie, Debra, and the rest of the Corning Community Team.
